Meanderings
The intimate relationships that emerge when making portraits is exhilarating to me.
connecting, even if for only an instant, feeds my need to belong, to serve, to 'see'.
Images have the potential to bring joy, to inform, to deepen our understanding of what surrounds each of us.
Making images, for me, is a way to define the world and shed light on my most human experiences.
My eyes want to feast on visual offerings, recording them so that they can continue their natural course while leaving me an imprint of my exchange.
Colors, light, patterns and textures are the support cast to the relationship that evolves between the maker of the image and his subject.
